What did you do? For this session I wasn't there due to some personal issues but Hannah and La 'Deana had a workshop on logic 10 pro. La 'Deana, Blade helped Hannah rehearse her song for the performance which is going to happen on February 4th 2019. With the workshop they used buses in logic 10 pro. what skills were you experimenting with? They experimented with Buses on logic 10 pro, so they confined several recordings of each instrument into one controlled fader. How was the session?/Any improvements needed?/ Happy with your track? So since I wasn't there I don't know how the session went. Some personal improvements that are needed are I need to try to go in and if not then at least ask James (tutor) what they are doing so I can do something at home for college when I have time. Research?  Since I wasn't in I searched about buses on logic 10 pro and what they are and how to use them in logic 10 pro so I wasn't missing out on anything.  Key w

What did you do? We looked at two different PIFs and chose one to make music for. Kash was the leader of the team and he made sure everyone was involved. Kash came up with easy chords for me to play on the keyboard. Dakota helped Brant with the chords for the keyboard he played, than Dakota got the chords for the bass. La'Deana played the drums on logic. For my chords Kash put the keyboard on an organ sound to make the music more upbeat which went with the PIF. What skills did you experiment with? I experimented with different chords and effects on a keyboard to get the right sound because I don't know how to play the piano/keyboard, so this session was the first time I played. How session went?/Any improvement needed?/Happy with your music? The session went quite well since the team had a great leader. But there was one improvement which was the group didn't rehearse with the PIF playing in the background so everyone didn't know when to play and when to finish.

What did you do? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRw8pbtN1WI - Heaven can wait. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQYPP9J1uqQ - spin the wheel We watched the two PIFs above and decided to do 'Heaven can wait' because we wanted a challenge. With this new group that James had put us in, Jake was the team leader, Ana played violin and helped with the chords with Jake since me and Brant didn't know the chords. I played the angelic vocal keys on the keyboard and Brant played normal keys. We did need James' help with the chords because Ana didn't know the guitar chords for the keys and Jake didn't what the guitar chords for the keys. Anyway James gave Brant some chords to play and then gave me some easy chords to play. James gave us the idea of fading for Brant to play which meant he played in a 7 time signature while everyone else played in a 6 time signature, so it made the piece more challenging. What skills did you experiment with? Well in this piece we experi

Road Safety communication aims to in still good habits in young people when they start travelling on the road, helping to develop safe road habits and skills that will last for life. Road safety experts at the department for transport carried out research which showed that today's children aged 6-11 were not taking notice of traditional campaigns and needed to be 'shocked' with something more hard hitting. In 2007 57 child pedestrians aged 15 or under were killed, 1,842 seriously injured and 7,628 slightly injured- giving a totally 9,527 casualties in all. So the 'Think!' campaign kicks off with a pastiche of Hilaire Belloc in a film advert called: 'the boy who didn't stop, loo
